08:32 AM ET 01.27 | While there are famous cases of coaches changing their minds, Chip Kelly said he shouldn't be part of the discussion. [Kelly said Thursday] on local radio station KUJZ that he did not agree to become head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before ultimately deciding to remain at Oregon this week. Sources told The Register-Guard on Sunday night that Kelly had in fact done so before changing his mind. Reports out of Tampa Bay suggested the same. "The only decision I ever made was to not accept the job," Kelly said in his first interview since Sunday's drama. "I never changed my mind; I never committed to the job and then flip-flopped." ... "It was nothing more than, I'd like to hear what they had to say," Kelly said.

He couldn't have flip-flopped, only UF coaches are allowed to do that.

Sounds like Romney.

Sorry...too many frickin' debates.

Ok, no more politics. My apologies for bringing that into our sacred sports space.

Lyles and Flenory are too busy working for Texas and LSU to worry about Oregon!!! LOL.

LSU and UTx don't have to use Lyles and Flenory to get the Texas kids! :)

...and apparently, neither does FSU. Just have a dad that's an alum.

Of what I have seen in the past few years, Texas has let quite a few good players leave the state.
