08:33 AM ET 01.27 | Less than a week ago, Michigan lost out on longtime commit Caleb Stacey, who switched to Cincinnati, closer to his home. When Puyallup (Wash.) offensive lineman Josh Garnett chose Stanford over Michigan at a news conference Thursday, it shifted U-M's focus onto the next target. The offensive line is a strength of the 2012 class, but Garnett would have been a major addition, rated as Rivals.com's No. 33 overall player in the class. U-M still has strength on the offensive line with Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward's Kyle Kalis (the No. 4 tackle), Carlsbad (Calif.) La Costa Canyon's Erik Magnuson (No. 10 tackle), Nashville (Tenn.) Montgomery Academy's Blake Bars (No. 32 tackle) and Rockford's Ben Braden (No. 38 guard).

Like the other schools don't want OL recruits.

they're not really that important. They don't protect the qb and open up running lanes.

Still amazes me that this Michigan team went on to win the Sugar Bowl. Denard doesn't need no stinking OL, either run with it or throw up a wounded duck and hope for the best.

Well, at least you aren't bitter. ND still sucks and Michigan invented football. Get over it.

Kalis is the one who got away from the Bucks after the Tattgate debacle. Even Urbane Manners couldn't work his slick magic on this kid. Too bad.

osu might have got him back if not for the death threats the kid received for committing to Michigan. Gotta love ohioans. Class of the B1G.

I don't know, but this year we'll get them.

It doesn't matter anyway. OSU will continue owning them for years thanks to Urban. I hate Michigan.

by the time urban gets it together, he'll burn out and leave. Michigan hates you too.

Yes and of course we all know that Notre Dame invented the forward pass,, I don't want to hear any of this Pop Warner jazz.
It all started when our Holy Mother Mary whispered into ND QB Gus Dorais ear to start throwing the ball to TE Knute Rockne,, 243 yards and 14 of 17 completions later the Irish in a shocking upset victory over Army 35-13 have blessed the CFB world with the forward pass.
You are welcome!!!

Still waiting to be adopted by LSU and Bama...

Pop Warner into jazz? Well, given the era, that's possible.
