07:56 AM ET 01.28 | New Orleans Hornets backup center-forward Chris Kaman is not with the team right now because of an organizational decision, team officials said Friday night. The Hornets are expected to pursue trade offers for Kaman, who has an expiring contract that pays him about $14 million this season.

Too expensive for contenders. Are the wizards still looking to blow it up?

I know one person who hopes this is true: Chris Kaman

Isn't Kaman one of the players that went to the Hornets in the Paul deal. Didn't Stern think this guy was one of the saviors that would turn the Hornets around and improve their attendance?? What a -ucking idiot Sterns is!!!!

QUOTE(#12):

Odom for Kaman would work. Kaman's contract is expiring this year so it's worth it for a contending team. Even Kaman for Haywood would really be nice right now...

How can the "so called owners", (including Sterns) of the Hornets approve a deal for Kaman to go elsewhere, when he was supposedly one of the saviors that came to the Hornets in the Paul deal?

No, they did acquire him in the Paul trade, but the plan has always been to turn him into some younger assets/draft picks

I re-read your comment and maybe you are saying that he was acquired in the Paul trade? The "No" thru me off, but regardless are the "so called" owners of the Hornets going to have to approve the Kamen trade as they did for Paul, or is Sterns going to nix this trade???
