09:17 AM ET 01.28 | The Los Angeles Lakers have expressed interest in Gilbert Arenas, according to sources close to the situation. The 30-year-old is an unrestricted free agent after being amnestied by the Orlando Magic last month. No signing is imminent, but the Lakers have reached out to the veteran point guard. League sources say that Arenas would love to join the Lakers. He grew up in Los Angeles and is interested in playing for his hometown team.

obviously. but i mean we'll swap crap for crap so we're stuck in the same situation which is a no win situation.

See Kyrie Irving last night scored 32. The kid is getting better with each game and will be a top 3 point guard within 3 years. Hey Dwight, how about coming to Cleveland. A team with a plethora of draft picks and Kyrie to feed you the ball? Rubio can't score 32 in a week.

dont you mean he'll leave in 3 years? LOL J/K LTCF

"Lakers interested in Arenas" - are you kidding?? They just got dubbed the most valuable franchise, then they try to pull a bone-headed move like this?

Adding Arenas to any team is like like playing Jenga... it could be interesting for a little while but you know that effer is is going to "pull the wrong piece" ....

Not a chance, the Cavs are headed in the right direction. Why would he want to leave? To go to an aging Boston, NY, or LA? Cleveland will be the team of 2015 and beyond. Draft picks galore. I suspect LeBron will get tired of Miami and want to come back to Cleveland. In fact, there are already rumblings about just that.

LOL whatever you say bud.. cleveland will be title contenders and the rest of the league will suck...jamison for HOF...lebron wants back in cleveland...what else? do you happen to live in a meth lab?

he's 30, he's dumb as a rock, he's a sneeze away from blowing out both knees and he's got REALLY bad baggage.and that's just non-basketball stuff...he doesn't defend, can't lead a team and unless he's getting volume shots, he's not going to be productive. Not sure why LA would be interested.they need an athletic pg who can penetrate and defend

This is a damn good comment!!!
