10:04 AM ET 01.28 | As a result of their unwavering support for the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act (PIPA), the UFC's main website was hacked and redirected to the URL UGNazi.com - a SOPA/PIPA protest site - earlier this week. Ever combative, UFC president Dana White egged the hackers on, assuring worried UFC.com users that their sensitive information was safe.

They've already hit him harder and will continue to do so. He doesn't mind because it's not his job to secure his network and to keep data safe. I'm sure his IT guys are pissed.

Yup. White can't even spell IT.

Have the FBI set up monitoring and then smack-talk the hackers into the trap. It's like an episode of Scooby-Doo, but with computers.

I can assure you that whatever the hackers do, it will be untraceable through a series of proxies and remote servers that aren't owned by them and most likely compromised from other hacking ventures. So even if the FBI was watching, it wouldn't lead back to them.

as far as the FBI knows, Dana has been hacking his own account in order to bring attention to UFC and the topic of free streaming...the fights are the only real aspect of UFC...everything else, from the smack talk and fake rivalries to the fake hacked account, is all made up to increase attention just like WWE....

The important question, though: why no UFC Divas?

Because no one on a sports website would actually know things about networking and hacking. Go back to your Scooby Doo daydreams.

it was a highly trafficked site along with others that were hacked for SOPA day. will not happen again because there is no legitimate need for it to happen again. slow week for UFC following a terrible fight card producing 2 contenders for the belt that will put on a weak showing.
