Eagles, Jackson far apart in contract value

Douchsean Jackson doesn't even give 100%. Hell, not even 80% on some plays. He's a cancer; cut him loose.

Mesean has a very unrealistic opinion of his own worth. Dream on...

While Jackson has said he would be willing to get franchised, the Eagles aren't likely to do that.

Hard to believe this guy spent 3 years at Cal Berkley.

Because it would cost you $13 million to do that. Average of the top five WR. 10% of your total payroll. And then what? tag him again the following year? You can if you want.
You can only use the franchise tag on ONE player on your team.

I doubt highly that putting DeSean in the bright lights of New York is gonna help the situation.

He's a great player - when his heads on straight... and right now it's not.

Yep, this sums it up from where I sit. Who wants to pay on a guy who plays only some of the time!?

From the times Ive watched Mr Desean Jack-**** play he seemed half in, offer him 6.5 mil one a one year deal. If he plays the same sloppy ball trade him to St Louis for a 6 pack of bud

Owners are tired of being burned by the likes of the Haynesworth, Holmes, C2K (debatable but after pay day he became very average last year) so DeSean is another multi-million $$ liability that owners will watch as the price plummets and then swoop in for a short term bargain with incentives (that he can't meet).
