08:18 AM ET 01.31 | The Hawk likes what he sees in Miami. [The Marlins] will have a new ballpark and several new faces familiar to Chicago baseball fans. New Marlins manager Ozzie Guillen will be joined by former White Sox starter Mark Buehrle, former Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano and Sox bench coach Joey Cora. Hall of Fame outfielder Andre Dawson, who starred for the Cubs from 1987-92, returns as a special assistant to the president of the Marlins. ... "They filled some necessary voids on the field and they elected to go forward. They want to win right away. Hopefully the new acquisitions will play a big role in that. We've practically raided a few players from both the north and the south side of Chicago that should make a huge impact."

They can practically fornicate themselves.

Don't know what the Hawk considers to be a raid. Every one of them was a castoff, with the exception of mabey Buehrle. Lots of other castoffs to be had for them if their doors are still open.

And they decided to reward all those Chicago transplants by making them wear the worst logo in American sports history.

I'm just looking forward to the 10 round fight between Ozzie and Zambrano, tentatively scheduled for July 28th.

You know darn well - Ozzie would verbally light him up - and I think he could take Z...... Only because he is crazier than Z

Definitely. I put all my money on Ozz!

Right. Raiding the Chicago teams makes all the sense in the world because those team have raked in the championships over the last 30 years. Could there be a better way to instill a winning tradition than by bowworing from two amazingly successful teams?

Wait, what?

Yes, coming from a Rays fan, this makes much sense.
