Heart and soul of Pats isn't Brady

08:09 AM ET 02.03 | Bigger and better than ever, Vince Wilfork, almost comically "listed" at 325 pounds but certainly in the 350-pound range, isn't quite the butterball one might expect him to be. Only one other Patriot was on the field for more defensive plays, with Wilfork recording a career-high 3.5 sacks and the first two interceptions of his career. In the AFC championship win against the Baltimore Ravens, Wilfork was nearly unstoppable, appearing for 67 of the Ravens' 70 plays. ... No offense to Teflon Tom Brady, but Wilfork is the heart and soul of this entire Patriots team, which embraces a simple sentimentality that sometimes is lost in his giant girth. "No one can question how much I love the game," Wilfork said.

I'm thinking he's more like 375-400/lbs.

February 3, 2012  08:27 AM ET

Perhaps, but he still doesn't get to stick his face between Gisele's thighs whenever he pleases.

Vince will rumble in for 6.

Me too. If Vince is only 350, I'm only 190.

Big man sure can play though. I hope he squashes Eli and takes a dump on him.

At one point against Baltimore, both Love and Wilfork landed on top of Flacco. Figured the next thing was to bring out a spatula.

He has definitely put this team on his broad shoulders.

He already has one touchdown this season. The same as Chad Ochocinco.

Can't be pleasant, although it may be a daily occurrence in some parts of the country.

Rumor has it that Big Vince is quite an athlete. He played basketball and it's claimed he can dunk. At only 6'2", that's damn impressive for such a load.

He'd probably do a better job of preventing a Blake Griffin dunk than Kendrick Perkins did the other night.

Hey Rex I hear you're finally getting that snow you wanted, is that right?
