08:05 AM ET 02.06 | One of the sidebars to a Lombardi Trophy presentation is how long it takes for a player to hold it, though Steve Tisch added a sidebar of his own. [For Tisch], Sunday's victory means he has acquired not only a second Super Bowl ring -- but also an embarrassing superstition that he will find it hard to shake. Tisch watched the Giants' thrilling 21-17 triumph over the New England Patriots at Lucas Oil Stadium with all of his toenails painted red or blue, courtesy of his young daughters Elizabeth and Holden. The 62-year-old businessman and film producer allowed his children to paint his nails as a joke five weeks ago, and was too superstitious to remove the polish as the Giants began to power their way through the playoffs.

So THAT'S their secret! The NFL is a copycat league. Look for all teams to paint their toenails at the start of next season.

Good for him. You do not want to break a good luck charm. Be true to your team and do what ever it takes to win.

Congrats to the G-Men. I noticed that the reporter last night did not want to talk to Mrs. Mara. She would have lambasted that guy like she did to Bradshaw the other day.
