10:20 AM ET 02.06 | Andre Villas-Boas is fighting to convince Roman Abramovich he is still the man for the Chelsea job after an amazing showdown on Saturday. Sources revealed that Villas-Boas was locked in talks with Abramovich at Chelsea's training ground on Saturday. Abramovich and his advisors turned up without any warning to watch the squad train and assess the mood.

AVB isn't that good of a manager anyway. His only season at Porto was amazingly succesful, because he had an absolutely amazing team. Seriously, all he had to do was put his best team on the field. Falcao and Hulk together up front? C'mon on. He's the manager equivalent of Frank Rijkaard.

The owner of the club needs to send a "warning" that he is coming for a visit??? This reminds me of when I worked retail and the District Manager would show up and the store manager would freak out because he was not prepared. Shouldn't you always be prepared?

I could see an AVB - Mourinho swap in the works.

Working at the GAP is not the same as runing Chelsea's day-to-day operations.

I doubt it. I'm sure Real would prefer to hire someone who speaks Galician fluently. It expands the recruiting area for the club.

It wasn't the GAP... it was American Eagle.

I didn't care for that second PK. Embellishment in full effect!

And Rooney must be setting himself up for a Real or Barca transfer with the amount of bellyaching he gave the ref.

Great save by De Gea near the end to perserve the tie. Give that man a jelly doughnut!

ManU showed the spirit of a champion.... kept plugging away despite the 3-0 deficit.

"The merchandise offered by American Eagle is considered to be 'retro/vintage' cost-efficient clothing."

Doubt it. I think he would do well there, but I think his age would work against him there. Maybe in the future.

I would think to follow in his footsteps the next step would be Inter, no?
