The fact is, new regime or not, Manning is just the kind of big-ticket FA Danny Boy absolutely cannot resist. I'll be shocked if the 'Skins don't make a hard run at landing Manning. I'll be even more shocked if they do land him, but I believe they'll try.

They didn't get Vince too late. He died too soon. He was the one who found out Larry Brown was deaf in one ear and saved his career.
