"It would be one of the poorest things that we could do as a franchise."

The fact is, new regime or not, Manning is just the kind of big-ticket FA Danny Boy absolutely cannot resist. I'll be shocked if the 'Skins don't make a hard run at landing Manning. I'll be even more shocked if they do land him, but I believe they'll try.
