That would sure be nice, Raist, I could grow a beard between Wizards wins and T&R NASCAR posts.
As for Kahne, hasn't quite lived up to expectations but I hope he has a good season.

Kahne, had an MRI Thursday after experiencing swelling in his .. LEFT knee. The MRI revealed a torn meniscus, which was treated Friday morning with a partial medial meniscus removal. Following the common arthroscopic procedure, he was released from an outpatient facility in Charlotte, N.C.

Last Word on Knee Surgeries ...

A.J. knee surgery ... back in January ....

Foyt, who turned 77 on Monday, went into the hospital in Houston to have rotator cuff surgery and also opted to have some bone spurs removed from around his knee...

"I let my mouth overload my ass." ... "They had to take my kneecap on and off and they said it would be a real painful operation, and I told them I could handle it." ...

"So I go home early ... left the hospital three days before his doctors wanted him to and tell them I don't need any morphine and boy was that a mistake." ..

Dan Gurney was talking to A.J. "I told him he was just trying to live up to his reputation."...

The tough Texan whose feet were shattered at Elkhart Lake, broke his back at Riverside, got burned at Milwaukee, battered at Michigan and run over by his dirt car at DuQuoin says this pain is as bad as any of his crashes.

A.J. "Hell yes, it's keeping me up all night and I'm driving (wife) Lucy crazy." ...

so that is WHY A.J. had an infection that sent him to the hospital.

Kahne arthroscopic procedure - knee surgery at an outpatient facility vs A.J. Foyt, major knee surgery in a Hospital ...

Any more KNEE stories ... i send Fat Tony to break yours ... Va bene ~
