08:02 AM ET 02.13 | These are not great days in the body or bones of Derrick Rose. [Rose] isn't moving like the quickest and perhaps most dynamic player in the NBA. He was walking like an old man in the locker room before Sunday's game against the Celtics. The 23-year old said he feels old, too. "Never," Rose said when asked if he had ever had this much discomfort for this long during his playing career. "That's what really killing me right now. Missing this many games, it's killing me not to be out there but as long as we're winning games I'm happy." ... [Rose did not play against the Celtics Sunday] because of a back injury that he said makes it difficult for him to walk when it's at its worst.

There's no quick fix for an ailing back. His coming back to play will all depend upon his level of pain tolerance.

That's really too bad....

QUOTE(#2):

Is Rose going to turn out to be a Bynum or even worse Oden? I hope he gets well and stays that way. Be a shame to hand a title to the Heat! Not hating on the Heat, but there goes the Eastern competition if Rose can't help the Bulls!

Oden never played more then 50 games in a season, Rose has missed 20 games in 4 seasons.

QUOTE(#6):

Just as long as Rose is ok on March 12 when the Bulls and Knicks meet again. Win or lose I don't want any excuses.

The Bulls already dominated the Knicks in the garden this season. Everyone knows the Bulls are a better team... Healthy Cleveland might be.
