08:06 AM ET 02.15 | Cris Carter and Randy Moss are playing the feud. [Talking to ESPN Tuesday], Carter offered some pointed criticism of Moss. "And Randy, not like any other superstar I've met, he has more quit in him than any of those other players. So I need to address that. That's what (Patriots coach Bill) Belichick did when he brought him over from Oakland. He told him he wasn't going to have it." Moss quickly took to Twitter, taking a shot at Carter, who has been on the Hall of Fame ballot since 2007 without being voted in. "its sad how u stroked ur own ego when u were suppose to b my mentor!" Moss tweeted after Carter's radio appearance. "then u wonder why karma bites u in the [behind]!#goodlukwithhof" Moss softened his stance later.

True enough though. Randy's whole career was about playing when he felt like playing and going through the motions when he didn't

It's just a pitch for a new reality tv show: Battle of the Has-Been Divas. First episode features a cameo by TO.

NO denying that the man was very talented. He'll probably go in the same year as TO.

Maybe Moss should hold a workout and invite all the teams to come watch and see if he draws more interest than T.O. Owens did...

I agree with Cris Carter. Hope somebody knocks Moss back into retirement for good.

Moss has been quitting on his teams since high school. He is a serial quitter. Quitting is in his DNA. Quitting is what Moss best. This is like tue wife who thinks she can chamge her abusive husband. The NFL is betterr off without quitters.

Moss needs to stay retired, but if he wants to play, maybe he could get together with TO and Tiki and put on their own scouting combine....

His Alligator arms haven't gotten any longer. There is no willingness for him to take a catch over the middle. Too much quit. He must be trying to come back because he's broke like T.O.

The Pats should send their lowliest scout, just to get his hopes up.

That reminds me of the age-old question: "If a tree falls in the forest and no one hears it, does it make a sound?"
