Sutter was blunt when asked about [the underperforming Penner]. I think he's one of those players that only produces when he needs more money... The Oilers signed him to a ridiculously large contract and he produced for about 1 year then went into the pooper. He has the talent to be a very good power forward but I think the heart is definitely lacking.

Good thing Kevin Lowe is no longer the Oilers GM. He would've given up Jordan Eberle and a first round pick for Penner.
