08:09 AM ET 02.16 | Deron Williams doesn't live far from the eye of the Jeremy Lin storm in Manhattan, but he says he's not getting caught up in the hype. The point guard said he didn't watch Lin's game-winning 3-pointer Tuesday night, and he's more concerned with a Nets team that [had] lost six straight heading into Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies. "Why would we get excited about the Knicks? We're 8-21, I'm worried about us, not what Jeremy Lin's doing," he said. ... [Williams] playfully pleaded ignorance when asked about Lin, even though the sensation started after the Knicks point guard scored 25 points against Williams. "What phenomenon?" Williams asked. Finally, after the fifth question about Lin, he cut off the subject.

I like that....
You are an opposing player on a losing team
You should be surly!
It means you give a shiate.....I'll take 10 of those players rather than a guy that's out to lunch

Hey D-Will... Im hearing the that the team in Manhattan may need a backup guard to J-Lin..

February 16, 2012  08:36 AM ET

It's a shame when they ask a player about some other player on another team... that has nothing to do with the team they just played...

D-Will ain't the only one tired of this story! 3 T & R articles about him and a 4th that mentions him... E-FRIGGIN-NUFF...

I love the Jeremy Lin story, but I'm with DWill on this one.

Lol.. he hasn't heard of a player named Lin? I wonder if he knows of a savior named Dwight Howard...

D-Will is supposed to be the point guard of the triboro but J-Lin's got him playing dead like a possum so he's sipping on hatorade and talking out of his butt... how can you possibly not know about the kid? Even the president is on board. Get a grip Deron. You are a loser! He already dropped 25 on you and hang 38 on Kobe.

Y're feeling the heat of being exposed... you had a great team in Utah and didn't lead them anywhere. Even this Jersey team is a decent squad but y're freakin 8-21. Y're not as good as the media portrays you to be... even Jameer Nelson is better point guard than you are!

I'm w/ you and so are the rest of the other PGs out there! Linsanity is for real and I bought into the hype afte his 2nd game! Now I need to move on to the other Lin story.

February 16, 2012  08:48 AM ET

Williams is right......as a Knicks fan I'd call the Nets right now and see if they do Lin for Williams straight up....Just a little stat worth looking at for Lin....45 turnovers in 6 games....not pretty...and the Knicks haven't played anyone tough yet.....its just a matter if time.......for Jeremy.........and Williams is the real deal stuck on that lousy team....

Man.. you must be out of your mind. Lin is a million times better than D-Will and he still got room to grow. I don't even want that choker on my team. He was on a Utah team team with Milsap, Boozer, AK-47, and bonafide center in Al Jefferson. That's a lot of talent and they were pretty deep... what did he make of it? Losing to the Lakers and getting swept... and tell me what the heck he has achieved in this league... he's not a winning player...

Melo is tired of Lin too! Taking away too much attention from his ego.
