08:38 AM ET 02.19 | The Rangers are rumored to be interested in Rick Nash, the 6-foot-4 power winger who has scored 18 goals in 57 games this season and has scored at least 30 goals in five of the past six seasons. One of the players prominently rumored to be headed to Columbus in a deal for Nash is Brandon Dubinsky. The 25-year-old forward has struggled this season, scoring six goals in 53 games, but made it known after yesterday's practice he hopes to be a Blueshirt for a long time to come.

6 goals in 53 games Brandon? You're lucky you're not rooming with Redden in the AHL.

Well duh. He doesn't want to go from a team that's tops in the Eastern Conference to a team that's last in the league. How odd.

And this surprises who???

If I was playing in the NHL I would ask for a no-trade clause in my contract just so that I could make sure to NEVER end up in Columbus.

Gomez could only DREAM of scoring that many goals.

That would be a huge two years worth of production for Gnomez...

The kids 25 and having a bad season. Not a good trade for an older player whose scored only 18 goals.

The more you post the more ridiculous you sound.....Claude Julien would give his left nut to have a player like Dubinsky on his team...great on face offs ...drops the gloves..digs in the corners probably better than anyone in the league...finshes his checks...and is a +20 in his career......maybe if there was more snow you would have something better to do...

6 goals in 53 games would have Dubinski playing on the 4th line in Boston.

All aboard!
