08:02 AM ET 02.20 | Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt continues to maintain that he prefers competition for every position on the team. That includes quarterback, where Whisenhunt said last week he will let Kevin Kolb and John Skelton compete for the starting job. Whisenhunt believes that eventually a front-runner will emerge. ... "[We] are in a heck of a lot better position at the quarterback position right now than we were a year ago today," Whisenhunt said. "We've got two guys that we feel like can play. They've shown at times that they can do things very well, they've shown at times that they are knuckleheads and it's our job to get the players that are there on our team to play better."

So it takes a knucklehead to know a knucklehead? Any further comment would seem to be superfluous

Now there's a vote of confidence for you.

KW is the knucklehead

So much for keeping critical comments in house.

The knucklehead syndrome starts with the coach, proven by him thinking he has a quality qb on the team.

Paying all that for Kolb was a knucklehead move...

Okay, then.

That is the part he is leaving out.
Kolb had no resume other than a career 9 TD 13 INT record behind him with injury problems.
What film were they looking at?

Translation: We don't have our guy.

My grandsons, while good kids, are knuckleheads also.

So - by association - they should quarterback the Cardinals.

February 20, 2012  09:44 AM ET

That's one of the funniest comments I've heard in a while...not sure the last time a coach called his player a knucklehead past the high school level

He really misses Kurt Warner.

You could be their agent

Careful, Kolb's feelings are very easily hurt. Not as easily as Cutler, but pretty easily...

Up against the cap, Megatron has to be signed to a new contract and Mr. Me is going to make a stink. Sign him and send him to the Jets where he'll fit in.

Who was the knucklehead that put Kolb and Skelton in a position to be your only option?
