08:22 AM ET 02.20 | Beginning with Kyle Bosch, an offensive lineman from Wheaton, Ill., Michigan football found a way to steal headlines from its basketball program -- one that enjoyed its biggest weekend in years. Capitalizing on the hoopla, coach Brady Hoke and his staff secured six oral commitments [Saturday] alone -- tripling the size of the 2013 class entering the day, pushing it to nine kids. For perspective about the rarity of such a large, early class, Ohio State is the next closest Big Ten team, with four, Michigan State has two and most Big Ten schools do not even have one yet. Though there???s nearly a year to go until signing day, the Wolverines grabbed six top 200 recruits on the Rivals.com rankings -- all four-star prospects.

Michigan will have a rude awaking on September 1st.
