08:08 AM ET 02.22 | Not long after it was reported that Portland was making a change at point guard, replacing Raymond Felton for Jamal Crawford, Felton said he was caught off guard. Felton spoke with CSNNW.com about Nate McMillan's decision to bench him a day after the team suffered an embarrassing franchise-low 7-point opening quarter; they eventually lost to the Los Angeles Lakers 103-92. ... "[Nate McMillan called me Tuesday] morning and told me we got to have consistency from that position and that a 7-point quarter was unacceptable," Felton told CSNNW.com. "I'm not just going to blame myself for that first quarter. We're a team. We win together, we lose together."

TRADING for Felton was the mistake...I said that last year..having watched him up close and personal since he ws drafted by the Bobcats I can tell you he will be nothing more than a nice BACKUP PG for his career. Nothing wrong with that but he was drafted 5th overall in the same class as CP3 and D-Will..not exactly the pick of that litter

Now thats a statement that I totally agree with pal. Question....Is this the same Felton everybody was makin noise about with the Knicks? Now this cat is on the bench for Nate. How'd that work out for ya Knicks haters?

it's more like how did it work out for you, knicks lover.
obviously, there were many parts to that trade, but the knicks were over .500 with him and have been under .500 since.

Count your blessing Felton, at least you are not seriously injured even though you are playing in Portland.

In the end pal we'll see about that.BTY the Knicks also did'nt have Chandler, Lin, Shumpert, Smith, Davis, Novak, Bibby, somethin like half of their team at present. Exactly where have you heard New Yorkers clamoring for Felton......NO, I'd rather say its you guys......ALL THE KNICKS HATERS pal!!!

nobody said that anybody is clamoring for felton, but it's interesting that you guys are trashing felton now.

this time last season, he was an all-star snub and the knicks were 19-14... and like you said, it was WITHOUT all of that talent you mentioned.
