08:23 AM ET 02.23 | A seemingly interminable eight-game Ducks road trip finally comes to an end Thursday, and it has given Teemu Selanne some clarity. The Ducks have now made an entrance into the Western Conference playoff picture and that is helping convince [Selanne] that he'd rather make a run at the postseason with them and not seek the chance of winning another Stanley Cup elsewhere. ... When asked directly if he plans to be with the Ducks for the remainder of the season, Selanne coyly said, "Right now, yeah." Asked whether that can change before Monday's NHL trade deadline, the winger said, "You know what, I really believe that we're going to make it. Like I said earlier, it would be selfish to even think about other options right now."

That and, as HC pointed out, he looks like a giant robotic Phil Mickelson.

Six points out of a spot and leading the team in scoring with more than 50 points on the season (one of the few plus players as well)...he's not going anywhere.

QUOTE(#10):

lol course wishful thinking..Selanne is exactly the type of player the B's need tho..no idea which player(s) would be thrown to Anaheim in return IF it indeed happened.

I thought your Boys would have a harder time of it in Missouri ??? While i am not a Bruins fan i repsect the task they completed getting a road win there

Jets second round pick 2012, or Patrice Cormier probably wouldn't be convincing enough though.
