Pair of receivers leaping into Round 1?

08:06 AM ET 02.27 | Georgia Tech wide out Stephen Hill sure turned some heads over the weekend. The 6-4, 215-pound wide out blitzed his 40 in the low 4.3 range and at his size could now make a run at the back end of round one. He's an explosive leaper as well and can routinely win down the football field. Size/speed gets you drafted high and Hill has an elite combo. It was a good day for Notre Dame wide out Michael Floyd as well. At nearly 6-3 he posted a mid 4.4 forty time displayed the type of speed needed to get down the field vertically. He's another size/speed option who looks like a lock for round one.

Not good news for all the FA wide recievers on the market this year, but very good news for teams that need to improve at WR.

They may go ahead of Blackmon since he's an entire 4 inches shorter than advertised.

Doesn't matter - the Raiders will draft them anyway

Hill is built like Calvin Johnson, but his 28 receptions last season are hardly a sample size of his pass catching abilities.

floyd can. He got his start and learned under Weiss. He is the guy that I would take.

The Pats need a big, fast outside guy, and they have 2 picks near the end of the first round.

I can see sports writers sitting at their laptops visualizing nicknames for Hill. "Starscream" is probably at the top of their lists.

Stephen Hill probably in the second -coming from an option offense

Let Blackmon slide...
Please let him slide...
He is the only exception I would make to drafting defense or inside linemen for my heroes.

Most of the GM's are knuckleheads - wonderin' how many times these guys have drafted the 'next' Jerry Rice\Calvin Johnson and instead got themselves another Charles Rodgers ;)

Here's your sleeper receiver in the draft - Marvin McNutt out of Iowa; he's got the height, the tools and the talent :]

My guy Jarious Wright will be a nice slot receiver in the league.

What difference does that make? Its all about how good you look running in a straight line with no pads on or how high you can jump with no defender around

I would draft him based on his name alone.
