08:18 AM ET 02.27 | Kobe Bryant broke a few things over the weekend. [Bryant] added another milestone to his career Sunday as he passed Michael Jordan to become the all-time-leading NBA All-Star game scorer. But did it come at a price? Bryant skipped a postgame media session after his 27-point performance, and was taken for further evaluation after he said he was "experiencing headaches." The Lakers announced later that Bryant had suffered a nasal fracture and would be reevaluated Monday after he returned to Los Angeles by an ear, nose and throat specialist. It's believed Bryant was injured with 8 minutes 48 seconds to play in the third quarter when he received a hard foul from Dwyane Wade.

Damn, that's the last thing the Lakers need.

First Bynum leaves the All-star game early because of "Knee Soreness," then Kobe's hurting with his nose..... unless these injuries are minor, this is really gonna hurt LA's season...

Wade has been hanging around LeBron too much...the punk must be contagious.

Brooks played Kobe 34 minutes last night.

I know..... for veterans that are trying to conserve their bodies for the rest of the season, playing heavy minutes in the all-star game is not smart....

... and Thibs gave Wade & James the most minutes for the East (35, I think) -- while DRose only played 18 and Deng played about 5.

Nah.. LBJ is a buffon, but he is not a menace. While in cleveland LBJ played within game limits - I don't recall a single instance, slow-motion replay or a photo, when LBJ was elboing oppising player in the face, or knee-capping someone or anything of that sort. LBJ is a bully, but he is not a bandit. Wade, on another hand, has a loooong history of dirty plays. He always makes cheap shots when the game goes the wrong way.
And it expected - his deminishing skills are yet to be acknowleged by his mind. He has aged, he is not as athletic as he used to be. And he does some really stupid and agressive things in attempt to substitute skills with ego.
Heckling on Dirk's ilness last play-offs, hitting Irving on the back of the head with his knee and causing concussion, bkeaking Kobe's nose while fouling from behind... It's all the same issue - Wade is becoming a "used-to-be-great" menace.
It's a shame...

In hindsight, he should have had suegery on his wrist and pinky, taken off the first 40 games and come back in time for a strong postseason run.

Well, Kobe is competing with Mike for GOAT designation. He is about 3300 points and 1 ring short to start that conversation seriously. And he has 2-3 years left in the tank. If LAL can't win it all this year, than Kobe should work on his 3300 points project. Nothing wrong with that.
And it would be even better for him if he collects points and the ring simultaneously.
I saw the last shot of MJ's 6th ring via live broadcast. I thought nobody can be better than Mike. Well, Kobe is gaining on. I am rooting for Kobe.

Great...forget about driving to the bucket for the rest of the year. Although you can make an argument about how much he seems to hate it before wade cracked him in the head. Wade's shady.
