Suns afraid to move Nash

This is a dangerous strategy if Nash leaves in the summer, when most of the second-tier free agents that would be in the Suns' grasp aren't worth the newsprint, especially when it could mean sending [Alvin Gentry] into the final year of his contract without a franchise player. ... [Yet] Nash also said he was "totally open" to whatever the team needs, including a trade. That's seems like a pretty strong cue, and Sarver could trade Nash to a contender near home, namely Dallas (Lamar Odom and a draft pick?). Some believe the organization is afraid to trade Nash, fearful of an empty arena and the stigma of trading a highly popular player.

Completely agree! I'm a huge Nash fan, but they need fresh talent for their future. Plus he already said he's ok with whatever the Suns need, and they need young guys.
