Crawford's crisis of confidence in Chicago

08:27 AM ET 03.02 | Corey Crawford, pulled twice in two games for Ray Emery, was sent an encouraging message Thursday by Joel Quenneville. Fight through it. Find a way. Don't give in. Find the confidence you had before, because it can come back, and fast. Then Quenneville was asked who would start in goal against the Senators on Friday. "Ray's playing." ... If there is indeed a goaltending crisis for the Hawks, it's one of confidence as the second-year netminder continues to be puzzled by his inconsistencies. "I've never been through this since, I don't know, since I started playing goalie," Crawford said. "I've gone on streaks where they're a little bit tougher, but to be up and down this drastically -- I'm trying to find answers."

Ray will find a way to let Corey play soon.

Having a goalie "work through their problems" worked out great for the Canuckleheads in the SCF last year, didn't i?

This does not bode well for Chicago. Like Daffy said Emery is going to melt down sooner or later. Hopefully Corey will pick it up when he does.

If Toronto's goalies "worked through their problems", they'd be in a freaking playoff spot.

Or maybe stop a puck now and then.

With Toews, Crawford and Niemi struggling, and Getzlaf, Perry and Ryan dropping gloves - the wild west is open.

It seems Ryan Miller's nuts have dropped during his jaunt through California.
