08:49 AM ET 03.04 | It was nearly 10:40 p.m. by the time Lamar Odom was ready to face about two dozen reporters gathered around his locker stall after the Mavericks' victory over Utah on Saturday. Odom's voice cracked during his opening answer, after being asked how he was received by teammates upon his return from a 10-day absence. Odom addressed his teammates moments before the team left the locker room to play the game. "It felt good to be back, playing basketball, doing what I'm so blessed to have done for so long," he said, after scoring nine points, pulling down five rebounds and adding three assists in 18 minutes. "I just told (teammates) to stick with me, and that at this point in time in my life I need them." Odom declined to be specific about the reason behind his absence. Sources have said he left to tend to his ill father.

Dude... Just grow a pair and find a heart.

Because right now, you are nothing more than a dark cloud hovering over the Mavs and my preference is to just cut your **** and move on.

I thought he started the season averaging like 5ppg?

Yeah... and he had it up to 7 PPG and 4 rebounds by the time he decided he needed a break.

Bottom line - he has been a mess to this point and if he can't **** right with ball, it's time to move on.

Taken half a season to get to this point? Damn slow learner. He'll be elsewhere next year anyway. b'bye!
