08:18 AM ET 03.06 | There's a new sheriff in town, Robin Ventura, and he's very different from the old sheriff. AC/DC's "TNT" blared over the loudspeakers to announce the impending start of a White Sox game, as is customary here and at The Cell. ... The manager stood on the top step of the dugout. And then ... nothing. Depending on your outlook, that nothingness was either joyfully blissful or painfully dull. This Sox manager didn't turn around and start a running conversation with the fans in the expensive seats. This manager didn't drop an f-bomb cluster that caused collateral damage. This manager didn't have to worry about tripping over a thicket of TV cameramen after the game.
