08:24 AM ET 03.06 | Credit Steve Lavin for thinking outside the box. When a team makes it through a season virtually injury free it is usually because of several factors -- outstanding conditioning, good nutrition, luck, and in the case of St. John's, yoga. Yes, [Lavin] brought in one of the city's most respected yoga coaches -- Johan Montijano -- to work with his players about twice a week. They believe there's a direct correlation between the lack of injuries and yoga. "When you play in the Big East, especially the number of minutes we play, your legs can go," point guard Phil Greene told The Post. "I feel like I was much more flexible." ... "I never liked yoga. It was too much stretching. He [Montijano] took a different approach."
