08:07 AM ET 03.08 | Reggie Wayne is no stranger to South Florida, and he'd be happy to make it his NFL home. [Wayne] thinks ending his career with the Miami Dolphins, winning a Super Bowl with Peyton Manning as his quarterback, would be a "story book ending." That's what the soon-to-be free agent told WQAM's (560-AM) The Michael Irvin Show on Wednesday, just minutes before Manning got released by the Indianapolis Colts. As the Sun-Sentinel reported earlier Wednesday, Wayne is open to signing with the Dolphins, and views a receiver tandem that features him and Brandon Marshall as a force in the AFC East, if not the NFL, adding, "the league might not want that."

Wayne & Marshall would be a fairly salty WR combo with Manning pitching the ball, no doubt. Add Bush into that mix and the Dolphins could be very, very dangerous.

Might want to explore getting a real TE, though.

The league is drooling at the thought of Peyton in Miami. Manning-Brady twice a year? With weapons on both sides to make it a game? Puh-leeze. That's ratings gold.

They'll need to beef up that O Line as well.

Crap. I hate those prime-time games. They freakin' drag on past midnight sometimes, and I have to get up at oh-dark-thirty to get to work.

Jacob Tamme is available. He caught 67 passes from Manning in 2010.

Dallas Clark? Just steal the whole Indy receiving corps. They already know the route tree.

That defense isn't bad at all.

Package deal?

Manning needs to go to a team that is just a QB short of making the playoffs. He needs an O-line with experience to protect him, running backs who know how to pick up a blitz, and good tight ends. I hope that he doesn't end up being a Jet.

Ain't that the truth? I'm not ready to stop getting a paycheck yet, but I turn 65 tomorrow and some nights in front of the TV I'm just like Grampa Simpson....

Lots of people are getting excited over nothing here, since Peyton hasn't even played a game since the surgery. Don't get your hopes up Fins Fans; you're mildly delusional to begin with but this Peyton to Miami talk is just that, talk. Anf who cares about Reggie WAyne, I'd rather have Dallas Clark on my team mon!!!

Draft a big offense line. You don't want Manning getting smoked after week one.
