Bylsma pondering lineups with Crosby

08:23 AM ET 03.08 | Sidney Crosby's trying not to think too much, and the Penguins are trying not to get too far ahead of themselves. [Crosby] was back on the ice Wednesday morning at Consol Energy Center, the strongest possible evidence that he'd made it through a workout that included contact -- his first in more than three months -- the previous day without suffering a setback. That doesn't mean Crosby is ready to announce when he plans to return to the lineup yet, but it's another hurdle cleared on his way to getting back in uniform. ... [Caution] is understandable, although his coach, Dan Bylsma, acknowledged that he has spent a little time pondering precisely where Crosby will fit in once he returns.

First.

Would hate to see the Kunitz/Malkin/Neal line broke up.

And so it begins.....

I may have a double post, my computer froze.
Good game last night, handed the Leafs their 1st regulation loss when leading after two periods.
They did run out of gas in the third, understandible since they played the night before.

I know, us Pens fans NEVER have a thread to discuss Crosby.

Thought the Pens looked stale most of the game IMHO. Will take the win though. They did find a way to shut down Geno's line and others may take a lesson out of that playbook.

This may be a good example of counting your chickens before they hatch. But I've got to agree with you DWI. I wouldn't break up that line for anything. Crosby/Staal/Dupuis?

I thought the Malkin line was out of synch, but the rest of the team seemed to be playing well. Gustavson made some great saves and Thiessen got lucky a couple times. I almost broke the television on that first goal though. Flatten the goalie after he makes a save and the goal counts? I don't care if he was out of the net or not, he didn't have the puck so its still interference.

Plans were for Geno to play with Staal and Sid play with Neal.

Guess plans will change.

Let's Go Pens!!!

Wherever he decides to play him, and how much ice time Crosby gets, Danny Boy is thrilled with this issue!
