09:20 AM ET 03.11 | There's a good reason for Tim Tebow to be rattled by the Broncos' pursuit of Peyton Manning. Per a source with knowledge of the dynamics in Denver, if the Broncos land Manning, Tebow most likely will be gone. He wouldn't be cut. He'd be traded. At while the number of potentially interested teams isn't known, the next yard sale at Shad Khan's house may include some oversized tarps. Yes, we're told that the Jaguars are in the mix to acquire Tebow via trade.

God works in mysterious ways, eh, Tim?

March 11, 2012  09:25 AM ET

He can go back to FL and revel in his 'past life'.

No way he gets traded, especially to Jacksonville who has Gabbert. Is that really an upgrade considering the Jaguars defense is swiss cheese compared to the Broncos.

The Jags already have the worst QB in the NFL in Gabbert. Are they trying to corner the market?

Local papers say different.

Khan wants to sell tickets. Timmy will do that. Gabbert was thrown to the wolves last year. 2 QBs could work, and Jags have plenty of cap space.

Gabbert was a big mistake. Just plain awful.

The Broncos won't sign Manning.

Are they interested in Sanchez?

Jackonville is his home.

The Broncos lost four of the last five games they played last year with Tebow at QB, including losses to the Bills and Chiefs.
That does temper a bit the mania, at least IMO.

I don't see Manning landing in Denver. I'm thinking Miami or Arizona, but I'm not ruling out San Fran.

Arizona seems to be the favorite right now.

Worked out alright for that Warner guy.

The Jags are the only team that would even consider going near Tebow in a trade. Nobody else would go near him. for a lot of reasons.

Larry Fitzgerald would be a happy guy. Playing with Manning would make his decision to stay in Arizona worth it.

Tebow could be traded to.....The Sisters of Charity team in the Missionary league, they have great receivers, Sister Mary Kate can go up and get it, Sister Mary Louise is a beast in the middle, all they need is a running QB and the sky is the limit.

March 11, 2012  10:57 AM ET

What could Denver get from Jacksonville, other than a place to get rid of Tebow?

March 11, 2012  11:00 AM ET

Pittsburgh!!!

'...in the mix to acquire Tebow via trade...' - is this wishful thinking, as it sorta implies more than one team is interested?
