Does Rubio's season-ending injury make T-Wolves deadline buyers?

10:37 AM ET 03.11 | Wolves president of basketball operations David Kahn hesitated to discuss potential trades or roster moves to compensate for Ricky Rubio's season-ending injury. Kahn has been vindicated with his decision to open the season with three point guards, including Luke Ridnour and J.J. Barea, signed as a free agent in December. Acquiring another point guard, Malcolm Lee, in a draft-day trade last June, also could prove beneficial. Kahn indicated, however, that he will continue talking with teams about possible moves leading up to Thursday's trade deadline.

Don't buy. The team looks good going into next year and is a head of where most people put them. Why be over eager wen you are overachieving?

He's already done that, emphasis on candidate (only).

Good for Team U.S.A. .... out for Spain in the Olympic this summer in London ...

Part of the trade rumor is cause former GM McHale, traded the First round pick way back in 2005 to Clips for Sam Cassell (if i remember) and it unprotected this year ...

and then the Clips traded the pick to NOH for Paul ... NOH gets the Higher of either CLips or Minny picks, Boston get the other one from OKC for Perkins ... Minny right now 1.5 games behind the 8th seed out West ... got nothing to lose by making the Playoffs ;-) ...

Minny has ~ Utah's own 2012 first round pick to Minnesota (top 14 protected in the 2012 draft ) ...so Utah would as of today Keep It

It's time for the rest of the team to pick up the slack. They have been an amazing story so far.

Gee, where will they find another guard who shoots 35% from the field? And can't guard anyone.

Ridnour is a capable point but the Twolves still need to get a shooting guard to take some pressure off of Love. Beasley probably won't resign in the off season so they probably should trade him. Hopefully they are looking at Monta Ellis or Kevin Martin.

Rubio was having a remarkable season. He shut the big mouth of Mike Wilborn and that was satisfying in itself.
