08:00 AM ET 03.13 | At the very least, Peyton Maning is giving Mimai a chance. Manning will meet with Dolphins coach Joe Philbin sometime in the next two days, according to a source. ... The Dolphins had hoped to make a full presentation to Manning, with Philbin, general manager Jeff Ireland and owner Stephen Ross in attendance. But the Dolphins, desperate to sign Manning, will settle for whatever they can get at this point, and are relieved Manning will meet with Philbin for a football-intensive discussion, without bells and whistles. The Dolphins are hopeful Philbin can make a connection with Manning because of Philbin???s offensive expertise and calm, pleasant demeanor.

Might not be the right type of meeting for Mr Entertainment!!!

So, Peyton's not falling for sitting through somebody's PowerPoint slides?

Wish I could fall for that...

I have a whole day of them today.

Damn. My sympathies, Otis.

Power point: the greates sleep aid since Sominex.

Methinks the 'Phins need to get Marino on speed dial to lobby Peyton (and talk to Reggie while he's at it)......

Power Point on conference calls all day: Reason to take rest of week off.

Tee time for tomorrow already set...

My daughter came home one day and said, "I hate PowerPoint."

She was 9 years old.

Guess it's good that Peyton is keeping his options open. I still say (even though it would hurt my Patriots) that the best team he could land on is one that doesn't seem to be looking...Baltimore. Could you imagine the Ravens with Peyton at the helm of the offense? They could still play smash-mouth with the Steelers, but might stand a chance in a shoot-out too...would be scary good.

It sounds more like a courtesy call by Peyton.

i think it was a former HP ceo/bigwig who told his people to limit their individual presentations to two slides, and if they could not, he would find someone who could

I doubt he would survive their first meeting of the season if that were to happen. Flacco can at least take the hits (for now) because of his youth.

a middle-aged guy mentioned the students in his graduate school class could do everything imaginable with power point, except provide the useful information

I can't imagine the Ravens making that move. As for the shoot out, Flacco was unquestionably the best qb on the field in the afc championship game.

He was playing against a girls' school defense in that game.

Peyton Manning playing for the Ravens=$$$$.....James Harrison playing for the Steelers=$$....James Harrison "retiring" Peyton Manning after the first sack=priceless......

He's not going to Miami. Let it go

March 13, 2012  09:20 AM ET

This looks like a courtesy visit summary. Things don't look good for the Dolphins. Seems like Manning is interested in which team is closest to being a SB challenger. The old competitive streak has won out over security and money. Maybe little brother's SB win has motivated Peyton to winning at least another SB before he retires. And he doesn't have a lot of time.

"The Dolphins are hopeful Philbin can make a connection with Manning because of Philbin's offensive expertise and calm, pleasant demeanor."

Is Philbin looking for a QB or a soul mate? That reads like an eHarmony commercial.

At least he is smart enough to tell the rest, come to me, I know what a stadium looks like and all the facilities, lets just talk.
Maybe Tennessee has a chance.
I betting against Denver because Tebow maniacs have been on their knee's for day's praying they don't get Manning.
