Ex-Tar Heel accuses SEC schools of paying players

08:18 AM ET 03.13 | The threat of NCAA action had been hanging over the heads of UNC's football program for the better part of two years. The NCAA gave North Carolina a one-year bowl ban and took away 15 scholarships over a three-year period as a result of the nine major violations the program committed between the 2008 and 2010 seasons. ... [Former Tar Heels safety Deunta Williams] was upset with the NCAA's ruling. Williams said the NCAA was out to make an example of North Carolina and that the organization ignores what happens at SEC schools. "What happened at Carolina is child's play compared to what happens at the SEC," Williams said. "The SEC pays for players. I'm not afraid to say it, but the NCAA doesn't go after them."

Most SEC schools have a compliance dept. not run by idiots.
Every single ruling since USC has been a joke and I am not a USC fan. USC had the book thrown at them by the AD of a school that had a pay for play issue going on at the same time, ie dude even said USC needed a compliance dept like Miami.
UNC did everything wrong and still received a failure to monitor tag. Academic fraud, pay for play, and a coach who acted as a runner for an agent. Wrist slap special

It was obvious that osu was cheating, but osu slappies denied it. Lo and behold, they were caught cheating. It's equally obvious that there is rampant cheating in the sec. sec slappies deny it. See a pattern here?
