08:01 AM ET 03.14 | Matt Flynn, your payday awaits. The Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns are exchanging contract offers with [Flynn] according to a source. Cleveland hopes to land Flynn and use their two first-round picks on other pieces. Flynn should command a contract that pays him approximately $8 million a season. Seattle also had been expected to be in the bidding for Flynn, but they are bringing in former Dolphins quarterback Chad Henne for a visit. Flynn was a seventh-round draft pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2008. Flynn, who was coached by Dolphins coach Joe Philbin when they were in Green Bay, threw for 480 yards and six touchdowns in the Packers' 2011 regular-season finale, a 45-41 victory over Detroit.

Warning......Flynn has played in 2 games in his whole career. Anyone that would pay him $8 million dollars is an idiot.

I would think that he would be more comfortable and more successful there with Philbin.

I had thought Flynn would end up in DC....before the big RG3 play by them... I think Miami has the leg up in this race.... Tanehill probably ends up in NFL purgatory...

Flynn in Miami makes sense, considering Philbin's hands are all over Flynn's development in Green Bay.

That's 2 more than RG3 and Andrew Luck put together. But yeah, I see your point.
Remember last year, though. We had all seen Kevin Kolb's complete body of work. Somewhere between the KolbKussions and a couple of mediocre performances, the Cards saw enough to give him a multi-year contract worth something like $60 million.
A fool and his money.

It's too warm there. At least in Cleveland you can cool off. Women in Miami wear almost nothing, and they're still hot.

If Philbin didn't make a play for Flynn that should be a major red flag for the rest of the league.
