Pease's first order of business: Find a QB

08:24 AM ET 03.14 | Brent Pease didn't want to talk much about Alabama. But in his first time meeting with the media as Florida's offensive coordinator, he spoke about what sold him on leaving Boise State for the SEC. Like head coach Will Muschamp, Pease spoke of a fit with the coaching staff and administration. Muschamp and athletic director Jeremy Foley sold Pease on the program. Ultimately, that helped Pease decide to take the job in January. ... Among the top priorities for Pease and Muschamp this spring is selecting a quarterback. Muschamp said [Jeff Driskel] and [Jacoby Brissett] will split reps but gave no timetable for when he would name a starter. If neither distinguishes himself, the Gators could play both next season.

Who cares

Why would they ask him about Alabama? He's there to address the issues Florida had on offense.

Oh and FYI to everyone out there. On F&N stating fact is now called ignorance. Just thought you should know that.

Why not? Does not the CFB universe revolve around Bama?

I've never claimed it did. The earth is our number 1 priority and yet it still revolves around the sun.

didnt get that either..UGA, SCe has already passed them.. Vandy is the next 2

UGA has not passed UF yet... They only beat UF when UF is really down since 1990, ie 4 times out of 22 years. Heck even Zooker had a winning record against Richt.

As for Bama, Pease was their #1 OC candidate as well as UF's. Saban and crew were too busy winning a BCS title and Darth Foley swept in.

Joe, I do not doubt you. Overstatement is a much-demonstrated component of absurd humor. Oh, and the CFB universe does revolve around Alabama.

UGa got the VERY favorable conference schedule. Again.

For one, I'd be very pleased if UF's QBs didn't get their acts together until after the third game of the season...
