Report: Darvish making illegal pitches

08:13 AM ET 03.15 | Yu Darvish said after his outing earlier this week, "Some of my pitches were so bad I don't think any hitters would swing at them," and now he has this to worry about. According to a report from the Japanese website Sanspo.com, there is some concern that Darvish is making illegal pitches by wiping sweat off his brow and then touching the ball without leaving the mound. The report said that a Cleveland scout was aware of the issue. There were similar complaints lodged against Boston's Daisuke Matsuzaka when he first came to the major leagues in 2007.
