Toomer sparks Twitter war with Shockey

08:05 AM ET 03.16 | Not long after Jeremy Shockey's interest in returning to the Giants surfaced, a former teammate suggested Big Blue back off. "Bad teammate," former Giants receiver Amani Toomer said via Twitter. "Worse person." Not surprisingly, Toomer's harsh words sparked a brief Twitter war between him and the volatile, 32-year-old tight end. Shockey almost immediately fired back, accusing Toomer of causing the injury that ended Shockey's 2007 season and dredging up allegations made about Toomer during his 2007 divorce. ... In a direct response to Toomer, via Twitter, Shockey said "Go get a bucket of rocks and start throwing them at your glass house." Toomer's response: "Shockey thanks 4 proving my statment about u being a bad person."

As far as the alleged clothes incident, unless she was wearing them at the time it was only a symbolic gesture and symbolism is not really newsworthy.

This is not news from Toomers side and it is the reason the Giants got rid of him to begin with. didn't see much of a chance, none, that Shockey comes back to the giants anyway.
