Angels fans jeer Braun

10:43 AM ET 03.18 | The boos started from the moment Ryan Braun's name was announced. As Braun set foot in the batter's box Saturday, in the first plate appearance of his first Cactus League road game, boos rained down from the generally placid Angels fans. There were modest cheers, and there were scattered fans wearing his Milwaukee Brewers jersey, or cheering for the defending National League most valuable player. But the boos carried the day, the first of many days this season when a road game will not be a pleasant experience for Braun.

He better get used to it. Not going away. Even WWF wrestlers pee under 20/1 testosterone levels.

Nice! Good job, Angels fans. I only want to know if he gets the Barry Bonds treatment: giant asterisk posters in the stands and someone throwing a syringe onto the field.

Gonna be a long season, Ryan. Get used to it, a**hole.

If I got his $ I would be heckled for him

Maybe he can hang out with Mark McGwire and get pointers........

Or ask ARod or Pettitte for some pointers on dealing with the jeering.

Hope Braun has thick skin, he's gonna need it. Bonds got heckled constantly and he never failed a urine test. Braun did and got over turned on a technicality.

I don't know about the asterisk next to his name but perhaps a question mark.

If Braun wants to cut down on the jeers, he can take a lie detector test and a DNA test to match against the positive sample. If the DNA doesn't match and he passes the lie detector test, people should give him the benefit of a doubt,

This guy is an inspiration to those thumbing their nose up at inconsequential opinion and beating the system. A truly under valued and under appreciated position in society.

You go, Hammer!!

Yes. He should use every boo directed at him as a personal talisman of sorts. His fortunes will rise even has his testosterone levels fall. Each jeer will warm his heart and only serve to stiffen his resolve. HH forever!

Yes, that, or he could just have a great season and tell everyone to **** off.

With Fielder out of the Brewer's batting order, Braun will get fewer fat pitches to drive, although he will probably walk a lot more.

He offered to do both of these and MLB and MLBPA refused to let him. He knew it wasn't possibly his. MLB didn't want it to be proven to not be his either because it would invalidate every sample they've ever taken. MLBPA didn't want it done because they didn't want the precedence. He handled it with class and will continue to do so.

This will be a rough season for Braun.

People are pathetic. Those who jeer Braun or believe it should be that? Lead a pathetic life.

Is that you, BarROID? People don't tend too kindly to liars.

How did you find out about that while the rest of us blokes are left just smelling the smoke of a hot syringe?
