Royals haven't offered Pudge yet

I'm sure his goal is to make it to the 3000 hit club, but I just don't see where he's going to get the opportunity to get enough at bats.

Other players not contacted by Royals: Carl Yastrzemski, Willie Stargell, Johnny Bench and Rickey Henderson.

No need to shout. It would be nice to see Pudge retire with a Texas T on his ballcap.

So I guess that they have not made an offer to Pudge Rodriguez or invited him to camp.

I wish they would just get this thing done with Pudge already. He'd be great working with the younger pitchers and could buy them some time until Perez returns from injury in June or July. Besides, who's better for the 21 year old Perez to learn from than Pudge? Come on Mr. Always Low Prices, Always David Glass... Sign Pudge already!

KC guy, I don't think it's about money. I think it is about Pudge knowing he will only be a stop gap until Perez is back.
