08:13 AM ET 03.19 | Things seem to be going from bad to worse on the road for Minnesota. Their playoff dreams slipping away with each loss on this elongated March road trip, discontent bubbled over in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves' damaging 115-99 loss at Sacramento. That's when Wolves two-time All Star forward Kevin Love and reserve guard J.J. Barea had to be separated by teammates during a timeout confrontation. Barea stepped toward Love while the two exchanged words and Love rose from his seat on the bench until Luke Ridnour ushered Barea away and Martell Webster did the same with Love. By then, the Wolves' third consecutive loss was all but assured.

Times sure have changed...this is what is called a dust up in 2012. Charles Oakley and Bill Laimbeer had bigger dust ups in practice

This is what happens when the team's best player is not around and your not winning, things are not smooth. Crash and burn baby!

Wow, people are so in love with Love, yeah, the same Love who kicks a man when he's down. Now this very loveable Love wants to take out a shorty in JJ. Tell ya what I draw from this........Love is real tough when he has the advantage.....shorties and guys already on the floor.

uh....not sure they ever played on the same teams

Instead of fighting among themselves why not take it on them other teams that's taking their playoff dreams away.

His comment could be read to imply they had dust ups with each other or just in general (on their respective teams).

I haven't seen a decent fight in the NBA since the 80's. Bunch of foul-mouthed, chest pumping thugs that couldn't beat a guy one on one without a gun.

The youth of America attack in packs. None of them can fight like men.
