It may not be a unique skill set for other fan bases, but your football fan base as mastered it and taken it to a professional level. It's not all bad, though. IMO, ND has one of the most knowledgable, loyal and optomistic fan bases out there....just keep thinking about the little boy that cried wolf. every time I read that story to my son, I think ND football.

Some day, the wolf will show up, and you guys can have LOTS of fun saying I told you so........

Brey just goes on watching his players graduate and become successful productive citizens and contributing to the betterment of the country. Brey can also watch the schools with the knob heads and knuckle draggers flunk out and go back to the streets. ND kids graduate and even though they won't win national championships they just win in the game of life. Yes Life is great at ND and they clean image Brey's kids project is so refreshing to see. The way it should be nice clean cut kids going to class graduating and becoming successful.

Agree with everything you said, except the 9-10 wins. IMO, you'll have a better football team than last year, but likely end with the same number of wins. It'll be interesting to see the feedback towards your coach if the wins are the same or fewer in 12 than 11. That schedule looks too tough to me.

Can't wait for CFB to start.......

I gotta question for ya on this one Pirate. Seriously. If you think you have the coach, and the system, but that coach, and system keeps giving you 8 win seasons, (especially with all the talent that keeps signing up in South Bend) at what point do you think maybe the coach and/or system is wrong??? I understand the snakebit thing to a point, but you can only use that as a crutch for so long. Ya know???
