Calhoun owes UConn a quick answer

08:26 AM ET 03.19 | Jim Calhoun hasn't made a recent habit of announcing his intentions early, but this offseason may be different. [Calhoun] needs to make the decision on whether he is returning next season. And this time, for the good of the school he says he loves, he needs to make it faster than ridiculously slow. Unlike last summer, when most thought he was coming back, yet nobody could say for sure until he told President Susan Herbst on Aug. 31, there can be no shadow dancing. There must be no telling somebody this, somebody else that. ... After That Stink Bomb on the Ohio Thursday night, Calhoun has much to consider and much less time than in the giddy honeymoon months following the 2011 national championship.

He could go to the SEC. He would be welcomed with open arms in that conference being that Calipari makes Calhoun look like a choir boy in comparison.
