Tebow, the ... Dallas Cowboy?

08:12 AM ET 03.20 | And so ends Tebowmania as we know it -- but where will it resurface? Tim Tebow is available, which means the next time he "Tebows" it needs to be in a Dallas Cowboys uniform. ... This should be a buyer's market for the rights to Tebow, and Jerry Jones needs to be interested, more for his football team than his marketing team. Stupid, right? But hear me out on this. This is not a gimmick. This is not about selling tickets or jerseys. The Cowboys have repeatedly demonstrated they don't need to win Super Bowls to move widgets. The Cowboys acquiring Tim Tebow for anything other than a first-round pick makes football sense.

OK... now this is just flat out stupid.

The Star Telegram used to be a respected paper... it appears they want to be the Texas version of the New York Post now.

His Christian sensibilities would be offended by the cheerleaders' outfits. So, do you think Jerry is going to cover up all that delectible girl-skin, and take the subsequent marketing hit, to gain the questionable advantages of Tim Tebow?

No... Not after signing Kyle Orton.

Why would he be offended by the cheerleader's outfits? This man is a chick magnet.

Tebow would be a popular signing for Dallas.

March 20, 2012  08:27 AM ET

Anyway, anywhere but New England. He'll be linked with every team by the time this is all said and done. The reality is that he'll get traded for a 4th or 5th round pick, be a fullback/TE and out of the NFL in about 3 years.

I predict he will be a super star in two years. Word!

A point which the Star-Telegram seems to have missed.

Absolutely agree with you.
The Cowboys have the best back up in the NFL with Kyle Orton. The guy should be starting for some team.
Tebow is not an easy trade and will bring no more than a 4th or 5th pick from anybody. Not sure anybody will put themselves in that mess.

Star Telegram used to be a good paper... I no longer waste my time with it.

This is very dumb. You are on the money Otis.
