08:30 AM ET 03.20 | Ole Miss may soon land another high-profile QB transfer. Danny O'Brien, the 2010 Freshman All-American and former ACC Rookie of the Year, will take an official visit to Ole Miss this week, a source has told CBS. O'Brien will be joined on the visit to Oxford by Max Garcia, the Terps former starting left tackle, who also is leaving the Maryland program. The two former starters are expected to be in Oxford from Tuesday to Thursday. In 2010, O'Brien had a 22-8 TD-INT ratio while helping lead Maryland to a 9-4 record and a top 25 finish before leaving the Terps program after the tumultuous first year of the Randy Edsall Era. ... [The 6-3, 210-pound O'Brien] still has two years of eligibility remaining.

Ole Miss!!!!??? Dude. Nothing against Ole Miss, but you don't want to be there right now. Maybe if Cutcliffe was still there, it would be a good move, since Cutcliffe is known for developing QBs.

Freis will do a good job at Ole Miss, but it will take him some time. Not a good time to transfer in

What is up with the QB's not wanting to stay where they are anymore, something is not right about this, where is any dedication to the team that got you where you are????

Sometimes there is a new coach and that coach is a real ****. That's what this kid is going through.

Oh man, they are censoring ass-hole, now, or did I mispell it?

An average QB in a weak conference (ACC).

I would get as far away from Edsall as possible

What a stupid decision going to Mississippi when he could go to Wisconsin or Penn State universities where a degree means something. A degree from Mississippi is like confederate money worthless. Just a dumb move by the Maryland QB.

He's already got his degree. He just wants to play some ball

Dear Idiot: Have you ever seen the women in Oxford? Perhaps, just perhaps, the vision of Jerry Sandusky persuaded him to go somewhere other than Penn State. And Wisconsin, are you serious? Do you think he really wants to be a mouth-breathing, godawful-beer swilling sausage eater?
