08:09 AM ET 03.20 | The suitors lined up their pitches -- San Francisco and its talent, Tennessee and its "job for life," and Arizona with its defense and Larry Fitzgerald -- and, in the end, Peyton Manning believes his future is best served in Denver. In the end, none of this could compare to what [Manning] saw in the Denver Broncos. ... [The] Broncos are set to give Manning a five-year contract in the $90 million range. Such figures will be nearly identical to the extension Manning signed last summer with Indianapolis. The Broncos also will have salary cap space to sign complementary talent, including the possible addition of former Indianapolis teammates like center Jeff Saturday and tight end Dallas Clark.

Can't we just merge all Peyton Manning threads into one big boring thread?

Clark? Isn't he near the end of his football life cycle?

Saturday and Clark would be great additions.

Yeah. Sort of like that Manning guy. I hear Denver already made him an offer.

What? You mean Manning isn't with the Colts any more. Wow, I bet no one saw this coming!

He's less iffy than Manning at this stage, and he and Saturday would make Manning's transition much easier. Especially Saturday.

Unless he can bring them to Denver in a time machine, it is of little help.

Well, the article did state 'complementary' talent.

I think anyone he has confidence in will help. Plus they will prolly be an upgrade in talent even if they are in the twilight of their careers.
