08:33 AM ET 03.20 | Could it be a sweep? While [Nick Saban] and the Tide are fresh off landing the nation's top-ranked recruiting class, some analysts feel the Tide could be positioning itself for its best recruiting haul yet under Saban in 2013. ... The Tide is in the unique position of potentially landing all five of the top five rated prospects in the nation for the 2013 class. The Tide picked up an early commitment from the nation's No. 2 overall prospect, LaGrange, Ga., linebacker Reuben Foster, in July of 2011 and is currently considered a strong contender for the other four players in 247Sports' top players: defensive end Robert Nkemdiche, cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III, offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil and quarterback Max Browne.

I can understand four wanting to go to Bama but why the QB? Did I miss something? Has Bama decided to "open things up" on offense?

anyone keeping tabs on how many of these early commitments are given offers, and how many of those that are then accepted?

Oh no! That mean ol' Sabenz might have another good recruiting class! I bet he leaves for the NFL!!!!! Lol.

No...he couldn't handle the pay cuts, remember? He HAS to be paying payers, gray-shirting, counterfeiting, cooking meth, printing fake ID's, etc to have any success at Alabama!!

and right now RN has a major bownur for LUS and said they are his favorite. Gotta luv the media hype bs

That's the way recruiting has become. We've went through several years of "so and so is rethinking his commitment! He might switch!" and then it doesn't happen. I'm not sure how it could get any weirder than the year Calloway and Kouandjio seemed back and forth at the last minute. auburn fans are still saying we did something underhanded there, and yet, fail to acknowledge that one had been committed to us for over a year and the other was on record saying he wanted to play at the same school as his brother.

The whole story probably will never be known about those two.

Nkemdiche, Hargreaves, Tunsil, and Browne all BAMA locks and BAMA will be the #1 recruiting class for 2013 again. Ain't nothing anyone can do about it but get outta the way.

BAMA owns the entire state of Georgia, those dawgs will get the scraps we don't want.

I bet that's right. I would love to be a fly on the walls of any big time coach and hear what goes on.

Considering Barkley also said he went to auburn because of the handouts, you either believe him or you don't.
