08:39 AM ET 03.20 | Of the ugly numbers staring back at the Leafs after an 8-0 loss to the Bruins, perhaps the ugliest is that after 20 minutes Toronto had two shots to Boston's four goals. The Bruins swept the Leafs 6-0 [on the season], out-scoring Toronto 36-10. Perhaps if general manager Brian Burke yells at the right people at the next NHL board meeting, he can convince the schedule-makers to leave the Bruins off the Leafs' calendar next season. "It was embarrassing," defenceman Mike Komisarek said. "Unacceptable to come out like that." ... What should be discouraging in the bigger picture is that several Leafs told reporters in the morning that pride was on the line, and they had no desire to lose again to the Bruins.

While I am happy about the win last night part of me realizes that this will bring the Reign Of Irk to end quicker, and I'm not sure if that's a good thing. I enjoy the humor associated with everything Burke says.
Once Burke gets fired, it'll also come out that he was working as a Secret Agent for the Bruins over the last few years, and we can't have that.

Wonder how Burke's hangover is this morning. Was watching the NHL Network last night and it was a never ending run of updates on the score of this game. Holy cow.

No matter how many highlights they showed, the game was worse. It was horrible on the part of Toronto that they didn't even bother showing up for a game when they thought they were back in the playoff race.
Not to say I didn't enjoy, the replay is on NESN at 4pm today if anyone is interested.

Schenn is a dirtbag. In his fight with Campbell, he wasn't throwing punches, he was throwing elbows.

I swear Luke Schenn has been overcome by the ghost of Todd Gill. I have never seen a season where a single person (not goalie) is personally responsible for so many goals against. Get rid of this kid, he cannot stickhandle, skate or pass. Other than that.. he is okay. Another great first round pick by this club...
