The Daily News first reported on its website Tuesday that the Jets have legitimate interest in acquiring Tim Tebow, and a source said Gang Green has had serious internal discussions about the Broncos' quarterback. "We are players in the Tebow race," a source told The News. They are not alone. On the same day Peyton Manning was officially introduced as the Broncos' new starter -- all but ending Tebow's brief run in Denver -- several teams were reportedly interested in trading for his services. ... [Antonio Cromartie] made it clear where he stands on Tebow joining Gang Green. "We don't need Tebow," Cromartie tweeted.
