08:46 AM ET 03.21 | Swimming with Sharks wasn't nearly as challenging as that sounds Monday. Not only did the team lose to the Kings on Tuesday night at Staples Center, 5-2, but the other five teams they are in direct competition with for a playoff spot all gained points in the standings. ... "Effort, probably, especially in the second," Dan Boyle said, when asked what the difference was. "They were all over us in our zone the whole time and they just had better jump than we did, or desperation, probably." Boyle, who scored in the third period, was asked to follow up on that sentiment. "Both teams are trying. I'm not saying we're not trying. I just want to be clear on that. But they were probably trying harder," he said.

they shouldn't be surprised, that music always seems to show up with them.

BBC did a show where voices were dubbed over nature documentaries animal shots. They are HILARIOUS. (particularly a woodchuck that keeps calling one guy) but I mention this because one of the clips features a whole lot of sharks "singing" the JAWS theme in full orchestration.
go to youtube and type "animals with funny voices" in the search

They're going to need a bigger boat. The S.S. Thornton is more like the S.S. Minnow

"Boyle calls out Sharks' effort"

What's Boyle complaining about? The Sharks are in playoff form. Perhaps ahead of schedule .... but in playoff form.

March 21, 2012  04:32 PM ET

After watching the Dallas-Phoenix game which felt like the playoffs, this game came on. These two teams are supposed to be fighting for the playoffs. San Jose looked like turd. Was very disappointed.

Just a reminder that they bounced your Wings out of the postseason the last couple of years...

When the Sharks manage to win one tenth of the Cups the Wings have won, I'll listen.
